Plant export
BLOOMZ began as a plant export company and is still a fully accredited MPI Approved Export Organisation (MAO). Tissue cultured plants, budwood and other plant material, including Sandersonia (Christmas bell) tubers, are shipped worldwide. If plant export is what you need, talk to us about it directly. We are specialists at exporting small consignments of specialty plants from cactuses, orchids, and peonies to hoyas and philodendrons.
Bringing material in usually means protecting it too — BLOOMZ acts as your New Zealand agent for both.

Which plants can you bring into New Zealand?
Pipfruit, stonefruit, kiwifruit, grapes, avocados, berries and citrus are the core programme — Malus, Prunus, Actinidia, Vitis, Fragaria, Rubus, Vaccinium and Citrus. Other genetics and ornamentals are handled case by case, from a single plant through to a national programme.
Can you bulk material up while it’s still in quarantine?
In many cases, yes. Tissue-culture bulk-up can run alongside the quarantine process, so there is propagated material ready when the plant clears.
