This is one of the most disease resistant varieties and a very consistent performer that gives a good return on both flowers and tubers. The leaf is deep green and very hardy which helps provide protection from fungal attack.Majestic Red continues to do well even though it is one of the first NZ commercial hybrids, developed in the early eighties.
